Our philosophy

Our culinary journey began thirty-four years ago in a tiny wooden cabin, fondly known as the "Falatozó". Since then, with unwavering enthusiasm and dedication, we've continued to grow—always with our guests' satisfaction at heart. From the very beginning, we've made it our mission to create memorable dining experiences, and we are proud to have built a loyal community of returning guests who still honor us with their visits today.
Our philosophy is built on three pillars: quality, freshness, and genuine hospitality. We believe that great food does more than satisfy hunger—it brings joy. That's why we use only the finest ingredients and prepare each dish with heart and soul.
From the very beginning until the COVID-19 pandemic, we were open 24 hours a day. This continuous operation allowed us to offer a warm welcome even during the night, whether to passersby or to those just starting their shift. This is how we earned our name: The Night Owl.
After 30 years, a new chapter began in our story: we successfully moved just around the corner, where we created a more spacious and comfortable bistro and expanded our services with a 9-room guesthouse. Today, we not only welcome our guests for a delicious lunch or dinner but also offer the opportunity for a pleasant stay.
Our restaurant operates with a tray-service system, allowing guests to easily choose from our selection. The most popular dishes are our freshly grilled specialties, prepared in no time and generously portioned to ensure you leave fully satisfied. While we take pride in the rich flavors of traditional Hungarian cuisine, we also embrace culinary influences from around the world—giving you the chance to explore a variety of international tastes from our menu.
